GATHER Events was built on a love of bringing people together. We are incredibly proud to be a team of highly experienced wedding planners and event designers who thrive on creating the most memorable weddings and social events locally and around the world. With an increasing amount of guests traveling for weddings, close to home and abroad, our local and destination presence allows us to provide expert support on the ground in the US and globally. We value collaboration and believe that our creative industry is stronger and more inspired when we work together. Cultivating relationships with our clients, vendor partners and members of the community is top priority for us. As wedding planners and event designers, we construct fresh, elevated concepts that make an impact, believing that every detail should be intentional, every choice justified. AMBER VOTEL ROTH

On Amber’s nightstand: gardening books, sentence a day journal, salt lamp and an adorable 2 year old note from her daughter.

Dream fictional wedding clients: Jay Gatsby + Daisy Buchanan from The Great Gatsby.

Childhood career aspiration: designer- she has always wanted to be one. Growing up, she wanted to design bedrooms to have all the colors of the rainbow represented.

Go-to travel souvenir: things for entertaining at home- finger bowls, carved serving ware, serving bowls and candle holders.

If confronted by a tiger… Amber would already have known that he was coming and would have steaks on hand.

CUCKIE ZATTI

On Cuckie’s nightstand: an antique mirrored jewelry tray full of gold rings, her kindle, a journal and a mosaic art piece made by her little man.

Dream fictional wedding clients: Princess Leia + Han Solo.

Childhood career aspiration: creative writer (until she realized another way to fight boredom was to make friends!).

Go-to travel souvenir: anything textile and she always makes a point to send out postcards!

If confronted by a tiger… Cuckie would call up all the other tigers she knows and have a party.

JULIA SALINAS

On Julia´s nightstand: An assortment of green plants, essential oils, natural face and body products, palo santo, quartz, candles and a collection of half read books.

Dream fictional wedding clients: Bert + Mary Poppins when they’re inside the painting and singing Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!

Childhood career inspiration: Nature photographer and explorer

Go-to travel souvenir: jewelry, sunglasses, candy, clothes and bags.

If confronted by a tiger… Julia would purr in his language to make his acquaintance.

KATIE WILGUS

On Katie’s nightstand: rotating love notes from her kiddos and the latest magazine that inspires her.

Dream fictional wedding clients: Meg Ryan + Tom Hanks in You’ve Got Mail.

Childhood career aspiration: teacher (as a child she sat all of her younger neighborhood kids down and taught them what she learned in school each day).

Go-to travel souvenir: bags and purses - her biggest weakness!

If confronted by a tiger… Katie would tell the tiger to sit down and behave in no uncertain terms.

MEREDITH GEFFERT

On Meredith’s nightstand: a historical fiction novel (bookmarked with a polaroid with her sis, a love note from her daughter and a Hotel Esencia postcard), Floret’s Cut Flower book and a half finished mug of sleepytime tea.

Dream fictional wedding clients: Zelda + F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Childhood career aspiration: archaeologist- her fixation with history, travel and stories started at the age of four with an issue of National Geographic.

Go-to travel souvenir: textiles, food, spices and all the shoes.

If confronted by a tiger… Meredith would lull it to sleep by reciting every tiger fact known to man.

SARAH TIVEL

On Sarah’s nightstand: moon phases yearly planner/journal with only the first 2 weeks filled out (just like every year), a cashmere hat, a no-bark machine, Airpods and 3 pairs of sunglasses.

Dream fictional wedding clients: Aragorn + Arwen from LOTR.

Childhood career aspiration: 100% actress, you couldn’t pay her enough to get up in front of people that way now!

Go-to travel souvenir: plates, linens, spices- anything you can use to make people dinner!

If confronted by a tiger… Sarah would give him a blanket and a hug.

VIKKI MARSEE

On Vikki’s nightstand: a humidifier, air purifier, oil diffuser, cbd sleep gummies, huge glass of water, 3 half read books and a sound machine. If the room isn’t a Turkish spa, she can’t shut her brain off.
