Copper Winery Wedding at J Bookwalter Winery

Seattle based, long time sweethearts, Elinora and Jared, knew they wanted to get married back home in the rolling hills of Eastern Washington. J Bookwalter Winery’s Tri-Cities location proved to be the perfect venue to host a 300+ person tented outdoor reception. The copper themed nuptials were generously doused with lush wild floral in burgundy and white blooms with rambling foliage and copper vessels that the florist personally brought back from copper mines in Mexico. The place setting favors gave a nod to both the bride's family's fruit business (fruit from their warehouse painted in edible metallics and labeled 'Bite Me') and the groom's career as a Boeing engineer (plane shaped bottle openers). The couple's transportation between the ceremony and reception was in a vintage Pontiac in the same year and model that Jared's grandfather had owned over 50 years before (grandpa even caught a ride with them!). Latin music was a must for this wedding. Mariachis played for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. Elinora and Jared even took latin dance lessons in preparation for their first dance to the bachata version of ‘Stand By Me’. They must have properly warmed up that dance floor, as it didn’t stop all night long.
