Classic Bainbridge Island Wedding

Many who have lived in Pacific Northwest might argue that heaven is summer in the San Juan Islands. There is nothing like getting on a ferry in the sparkling blue water of the Salish Sea to leave the hustle and bustle behind and escape to find that island magic. This is what makes the San Juans such an ideal destination wedding location. Guests are treated to a unique experience that is quintessential Northwest, and even the sketchy cell phone reception conspires to make folks turn off the outside world and tune into the magic of the moment. This was certainly the case for Brittany and Burke, but instead of a casual island affair, they opted for a classic and classy garden party with a Northwest backdrop. Big lush dahlia blooms, blush tones, a romantic floral arbor installation, twinkly lights, and a tented reception on a private island estate. What a treat. Oh and Brittany's head piece?! It has us 80's kids crushing big time, as it's reminiscent of The Empress from The Never Ending Story. Oh yes.
