Lush Industrial Chic Wedding
Succulents, foliage and thistles- oh my! If you've been following along on Instagram, you may have seen us post about Sue and Eric's Wedding Chicks feature earlier this week. Today on the blog, we've got the full scoop on this lush urban wedding! Sue and Eric had always imagined themselves getting married amongst the fragrant herbs of California vineyards. However, once they set out on their venue search, Sue found herself falling in love with the industrial charm of LA’s Smog Shoppe. The final design vision combined the modern, urban charm of the venue with the soft and sophisticated air of a vineyard wedding. Honey & Poppies provided loads of neutral and cool-toned textured florals, herbs, and white candles to create a romantic and inviting environment for guests to celebrate in. The ceremony arch was adorned with fresh olive branches, crisp neutral blooms, and beautiful hanging votives. Over dinner tables hung lush, cascading, overgrown centerpieces of eucalyptus, olive, and ivory blooms. Guests enjoyed a family-style meal packed full of seasonal ingredients by Whoa Nelly on bright, natural ceramics and sleek modern brushed gold flatware from Borrowed Blu. As the night came to a close, everyone mingled, sipped on custom signature cocktails by The Whaling Club, and danced the night away to tunes provided by Dart Collective. It was the perfect night to celebrate the modern and still timeless love story of Sue and Eric
