Bows + Hand Lettering: A Wedding At Umbria's Borgo Colognola

Bows, hand lettering from one of the couple’s four kids, custom embroidery done by the whole family, vintage patterned china, bold accent colors and multiple days of outdoor celebrations were some of the highlights of Jet and Rogier’s wedding weekend.

The weekend kicked off with a BBQ and pool party, complete with red and white checkered fabric adorning not only the tables but also J+R from head to toe. The wedding day aesthetic took on a more old world appeal with a theme of bows, lace, pearls, vintage china and romantic blooms. The ceremony was held in the village church followed by a processional through the village with a cocktail reception in the piazza for friends, family and the local community. That evening the fete continued with an intimate outdoor dinner at the borgo after which guests enjoyed dancing and gelato until the wee hours of the morning.
