Colorful Modern Woodsy Wedding at Robinswood House

Tall pines, colorful wildflowers, a romantic canoe ride and dancing under the stars: Arielle + Bennett’s wedding was a playful and fun summer wedding in the woods that exuded a very Wes Anderson vibe. Arielle (of Arielle Vey Photography) and Bennett live in San Diego but decided to tie the knot back in Arielle’s home state of Washington. They chose Robinswood House in Bellevue (with it’s beautiful gardens and cedar shingled historic building) to host their wedding then wandered up the road for a bit of adventuring in the woods near North Bend. Guests gathered for a garden ceremony with an impressive semi circular wildflower installation then made their way to the reception on the patio, before dancing and dining on local ice cream treats.

We had a talented team for this Pacific Northwest wedding; the vendors coming from San Diego, Los Angeles, Portland and Seattle. The beautiful wildflower florals from Layered Vintage give this wedding that carefree feel of summer bounty. The Swell Press stationery features Arielle’s brand hues of blue and orange printed and pressed in a charmingly nostalgic font. Vivienne Tyler Photography beautifully captured the day, while Darcy Bly filmed it (both in digital and Super 8).
