Seattle Friendor Gathering

It's no big secret, wedding season is a crazy time for vendors. So, what did we decide to do between back to back weddings?! Throw a party of course! No, we are not suicidal, but we have found that the best way to recharge the self care batteries (besides sleep) is to surround yourself with your peeps! So, in an effort to show a little love and have a little fun- we decided that a "friendor mixer' was the thing to do. No frills, no fuss- just friends, pizza, sweets, wine, wedding season survival kits, and acoustic music in a lovely setting. It might prove to be one of the most heart warming and wonderful experiences that we have all season. The Seattle wedding community is a super collaborative, supportive, tight knit group. When we (the SEA team) first started in the industry 8 years ago, we were welcomed by other planners when Kelli Bielema from Shindig Events introduced us to the group. We feel blessed to be part of a network that values community over competition, and happens to be full of some seriously amazing boss babes (that can be a unisex term, right?!). So cheers to all you amazing folks out there doin' your thang and spreading the love.
