Seattle Summer Solstice

Happy #weddingwednesday ! This week we are thrilled to (finally!) bring you a collaboration we did with an awesome team of Seattle designers that was featured on Green Wedding Shoes last week. The styled summer solstice photo shoot loosely draws inspiration from the heavenly bodies of the sun, moon and stars in an organic, luxurious fashion. As a team, we embraced the astral concept with a bounty of heady romanticism through the use of lavish textures, gradient colors, geometrics, bold and muted hues, and moody elements. By incorporating modern and classic details, we brought in juxtaposition and a modicum of whimsy to this inspiration shoot that celebrates the burgeoning of summer. The overall result has us over the moon (pun entirely intended) and happy that we can now share with the world Sarah Carpenter's beautiful, film captured images.
